it’s still being used today and i bought it three years ago!!I bought this backpack three years ago, prior to starting high school. In the past, I’ve needed to get a backpack each year before school started because my old ones never lasted. This became a time-consuming, arduous, and expensive task that I wanted to get rid of permanently. Because of this, I decided to purchase the highly talked about Borealis North Face Backpack, which was not a mistake. For starters, the backpack has padded back straps that make it comfortable to carry and has several different storage compartments, perfect for your laptop, chargers, and any other school supplies. Along with this, it’s very versatile in its uses. This backpack has been to school, the beach, on several airplanes and is still yet to have any rips or tears. While this backpack is of excellent quality, one of its many favorable features is also the one that bothers me the most. This backpack has an extremely thick zipper to prevent it from damaging, breaking, or getting stuck like most zippers tend to do. However, this makes the bag slightly tricky to open, which in turn can sometimes make it hard to place objects in your backpack, especially if they have wider dimensions. However, I would still recommend this backpack to anyone. I’ve had so many different brands over the years, and this one is yet to beat. I use it every day, and I’m the reason why so many of my friends have purchased this product. It is well worth the cost. You wouldn’t regret it.Excellent backpack! Both my girls have always carried this brand. It does not disappoint. The backpack will last multiple years. Well worth the month!This was a birthday gift for my granddaughter and she likes it very much.My daughter used this for an entire year of college and it still looks brand new. She loves this bag. Worth the upfront investment.I went to Stockholm, Copenhagen and various cities in Norway, including Northcape, with only the clothes I was wearing and whatever I could squeeze into this pack and a fanny pack (about a week’s worth of clothes but more socks and underwear and no jeans). I stayed in hotels but did a variety of touristy activities including city exploring and hiking, including Pulpit Rock.It was doable but I had some issues:- It was raining a lot of days and everything in the bag got soaked so you will need to buy a separate rain cover. The outer shell is nylon but the zippers are the fail point so you can’t just use weather proofing spray.- The stretchy mesh pockets are very stretchy but not really that deep. There is an adjustable strap but it doesn’t keep things in or secure unless the pack is always right side up. I had a 32L hydroflask that dropped way too many times. Also the pockets show wear quickly (knicks and holes).It is fairly comfortable for hiking or city exploring though. I consider it more of a glorified backpack. Yes there are some technical features like a whistle but I’d prob go with something else if you want a real solid hiking pack.This backpack is a very nice product. The fit is almost perfect. The straps seem a bit small, but it’s adjustable. I’ve used a different backpack for quite some time, but had extra pockets that weren’t used much. In this backpack, I was able to use up all the space perfectly, and it has a very nice interior design, especially for the laptop compartment. The backpack itself looks much better in person, and I believe this design is pretty underrated as of 12/25/19. The interior itself looks rich and should last a long time. A suggestion would be for the third compartment, where there is mesh, and a smaller pocket, would be maybe to extend the space a bit more. I found it a bit small, but overall 5/5 stars. The fabric for devices is pretty soft. It’s more soft and more rich feeling than the backpack I used before. The backpack itself is hard for it to stand up, but it’s pretty fixable with setting it at an angle. I believe for the price it’s at, this backpack is pretty good in value, and worth the buy. Fits very well, it is warm and it looks very classy. The zipper has two ends, can be unzipped half way up to the waist to make it easy to get in-out of the car and during driving.Fake, feather goes off, just not greatCouldn’t ask for more. Super comfortable and super practical. Perhaps it is a bit heavier than expected but still it is greatI'm just disappointed that there are feathers everywhere. Surely it should be double lined?
